The main difference between Keenan Online and other similar sites is the structure. Here we pay special attention to making sure that our courses have the best possible structure and progression. Pro tip: Click “mark as completed” as you go through the video lessons, to track your progress. 

Where should you start? Here’s a few options:

If you are a white belt, or you want to see Keenan explain the basics of jiu jitsu your first destination should be the White belt course. 

If you are a blue belt, or if you want to Keenan to explain the most common modern jiu jitsu situations, check out the Blue belt course.

If you’re a purple belt… you guessed it, you can start with the Purple belt course (but I recommend checking out the blue belt course too).

Brown and black belt courses are coming once the not-so-secret studio is completed here at Legion HQ.

Are you working on developing some specific positions? The mastering position series breaks down concepts, offence, defense and submissions from each position.

A good place to start is to develop the best position with the help of Mastering Positions – Back Control

Keenan has some dope passing, but let’s face it, you mostly know him for his guard chops. There are too many guard specific courses on this site to list them individually, but you may want to check out the Lapel guard courses (there’s 4 of them here) or Open guard courses. Note: There is only 1 other place on the interwebs where you can learn jiu jitsu from Keenan that ISN’T a part of Keenan Online. That’s the Lapel Encyclopedia – a Goliath resource with 13 chapters, its own website and app. It’s also on sale post-Europeans if you’re interested in that specifically.
